llms.txt and llms-full.txt
A reading guide at /llms.txt that tells an assistant what your site is and which pages matter, plus your whole site as text in one fetch at /llms-full.txt.
WordPress plugin
Parleon AI Layer makes every page on your site readable by ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini, Perplexity and the AI agents behind them. One plugin, any theme, no tracking. Free, and a free key connects it to Parleon.
/llms.txt/llms-full.txt/pricing.md/.well-known/agent-card.json/.well-known/mcp/server-card.jsonPOST /mcp tools/call search_siteEvery path above is served by the plugin from your own content.
Why now
More and more questions end inside ChatGPT, Gemini, Perplexity or Claude. Whatever the assistant says is what your customer hears, whether or not they ever visit you.
An assistant working fast prefers sites that hand it clean text, a map of what matters and tools it can call. A theme built for human eyes gives it menus, scripts and guesswork.
When your site speaks the formats agents look for, your own words are what they quote, your pages are what they link, and your products are what they find.
What an agent sees
These are the requests an AI agent makes when it lands on a site. On a typical WordPress install most of them come back empty. With the plugin, every one returns something useful.
Without the plugin
GET /llms.txt 404 Not Found GET /about Accept: text/markdown 200 Your words, buried in menus, scripts and sliders GET /.well-known/mcp/server-card.json 404 Not Found POST /mcp tools/list 404 Not Found GET /robots.txt 200 No AI crawler rules, no usage policy With Parleon AI Layer
GET /llms.txt 200 # Your Site > What you do, and the pages that matter GET /about Accept: text/markdown 200 # About us Your words, as clean Markdown GET /.well-known/mcp/server-card.json 200 { "transport": "streamable-http", "url": "/mcp" } POST /mcp tools/list 200 search_site, get_page, list_recent, get_site_info GET /robots.txt 200 Content-Signal: search=yes, ai-input=yes, ai-train=no What it adds
A reading guide at /llms.txt that tells an assistant what your site is and which pages matter, plus your whole site as text in one fetch at /llms-full.txt.
Every post, page and product is also served as clean Markdown, at its own .md address or when an agent asks for text/markdown. No menus, no scripts, just your words.
A live Model Context Protocol endpoint at /mcp. Assistants call search_site, get_page, list_recent and get_site_info instead of guessing from your HTML.
The well-known files agents look for first: an MCP server card, an A2A agent card, an AI catalog, an API catalog, agent skills and an agents.md, plus Link headers that point to them.
Named robots.txt rules for the AI crawlers and a Content-Signal line that says what your content may be used for: search, AI answers, AI training. Your own robots rules stay first and are never loosened.
JSON-LD for your organization, website and articles. If Yoast, Rank Math or another supported SEO plugin is active, the plugin adds none and leaves structured data to it.
Your site's tools exposed to AI-capable browsers through WebMCP, from a script bundled inside the plugin. It never loads remote code.
See in your WordPress dashboard which AI agents read your site and how often, as plain totals per agent. Counts only: no URLs, no IP addresses, nothing about your visitors.
Run your site through isitagentready.com, the public checker, before and after you connect. The score is not ours, which is the point.
Fits the site you have
Nothing to edit in your theme and no shortcodes to place. The plugin reads your published content and builds the agent layer around it.
When Yoast, Rank Math or another supported SEO plugin is active, it adds no structured data of its own and leaves the sitemap alone, so search engines never see the same schema twice.
With WooCommerce active, agents can search your products and pull one up with its real price and link, through search_products and get_product.
No cookies, no visitor tracking. Without a key it sends nothing anywhere. With a key, Parleon receives daily AI visit totals per agent, never page addresses, IP addresses or anything about a person.
How it works
Download the zip, then in WordPress go to Plugins, Add New, Upload Plugin, and activate it. Open AI Layer in the admin menu.
Press Get your free key on the AI Layer screen, or start here. Enter your email and your site's address and the key appears straight away.
Send the key back to your site in one click, or paste it on the AI Layer screen and press Activate. Your site is agent ready and connected to Parleon.
The plugin works without a key: choose Turn on without a key and everything is built on your server, with nothing sent anywhere. Connecting the free key links your site to Parleon.
Something else? hello@parleon.ai
Nothing. The plugin is free and the Parleon key is free. Every feature in the plugin works with or without a key.
No. You can turn the AI layer on without one, and everything is then built on your server with nothing sent anywhere. The free key connects your site to Parleon: a verified status, daily AI agent visit totals kept on record with Parleon (counts only), and AI crawler lists kept current by Parleon. For Parleon customers, the key also switches on the full hosted AI layer.
No. The plugin works with any theme and builds everything from the posts, pages and products you already publish. When you edit a page, the agent versions follow.
No. When Yoast, Rank Math or another supported SEO plugin is active, this plugin adds no JSON-LD and leaves the sitemap to it. Your SEO plugin keeps doing its job; this adds the parts built for AI agents.
Yes. With WooCommerce active, agents get product search and product details through the MCP server, and products, prices and stock appear in the Markdown versions, honouring catalog visibility.
No. It sets no cookies and stores no visitor data. Without a key it sends nothing anywhere. With a key connected it sends Parleon a daily total of AI agent visits per agent name and the number of published pages. No page addresses, no IP addresses, no visitor data.
Yes. The Content-Signal line in robots.txt says ai-train=no by default, and one checkbox blocks the crawlers that only collect training data while still letting AI search and assistants read your site. Signals state your preference; each crawler decides whether to honour it.
It depends on your site and host, so check it yourself on isitagentready.com before and after. The plugin covers every check a WordPress plugin can serve. DNS records (DNS-AID) cannot be set by a plugin; your DNS provider handles those.
Request a new one with the same email and the same site address. You get a fresh key, and the old one stops working once the new one is activated on your site.
It is on its way. Until the listing is live, download the plugin zip here and upload it under Plugins, Add New, Upload Plugin.
Open AI Layer in your WordPress admin menu. From there you can get your free key, paste one you already have, or turn the layer on without a key.
Install the plugin, get your free key, connect. Then check your site on isitagentready.com and see what changed.
